The Town of Southington has been awarded a Small Cities Grant (2025) under the state’s Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.
This $2,000,000 grant will provide improvements at General Pulaski Terrace, a 40-unit housing development. This funding is for modernization, including roofing, gutters, heat pumps, and a fire alarm system. (*See timeline below for project phases)
As of 3/9/2026, we are in the construction phase. In this phase, contractors begin project work with regular inspections, updates, and quality assurance checks.
