Friendly reminders:
~ RENT CHECKS must be in an envelope in the drop box. We do not want to miss your check.
~ COMMUNITY ROOM (table items or donations):
- Clothing donations must be new and include tags or be in original packaging
- Food donations must be sealed or canned; fresh fruits and vegetables are not permitted due to the risk of fruit flies, etc.
~ DO NOT FEED WILDLIFE! Notify the office AND 911 should you see a bear, coyote, etc.
~ Celebrating AMERICA’s 250th – Southington America 250 Events – Main Street tenants came together to paint their bench. American flags are waving from Academy Street balconies, and Carter Lane and Pleasant Street signs are decked out with American Flags. Carter Lane and Pleasant Street showed their spirit with flags on their signs.
~In preparation for our Solar Project, Tree Removal Notices have been posted to the Community Rooms bulletin boards. All information will also be posted on our website – Solar Project – Southington Housing Authority.

The Center for Healthy Aging is a complimentary information and resource center with a dedicated team focused on helping individuals find the right care, in the right place, at the right time. From Specialists providing support and education, and Resource Coordinators help to navigate and connect with services, including food resources, to Transportation or find assistance in the home, and more….

- Friday, July 24 / 5-10:30 p.m. – Free entertainment, food, and vendor booths, Italian Marketplace, Fireworks at 9:30 pm.
- Saturday, July 25 / 1-10 p.m. BINGO 1-3 p.m. Children’s Italian arts and crafts at 1 p.m. Scopa Tournament at 3 p.m.
- Sunday, July 26 / Outdoor Italian Mass, 10 a.m. The festival starts at noon. Children’s train rides 1-4 pm.

- Bread of Life: Hot meals are prepared and served at Bread For Life from 11:45 am to 12:30 pm Monday-Friday and at 5:30 pm on Wednesday. Inside dining and to-go options available. Take-home Saturday lunches are distributed on Fridays.
