Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) Update – SHA
As many of you know, our former RSC, Gail Castiola, passed away late last year. Shortly after her passing, we began discussions with prospective incoming RSC’s and identified a start date in the fall of 2025. To ensure continuity of service in the meantime, we implemented a temporary RSC role and welcomed Mayra DeLeon as our temporary RSC. I want to recognize and thank Mayra for the excellent job she has done supporting our SHA residents during this transition. She has been a great teammate and an asset to SHA during this transition, and we are grateful for her dedication and contributions.
We are now excited to welcome our new permanent RSC, Kirsten Albino, who will begin on September 8, 2025. She brings extensive human resources experience from her work at a large insurance company, with a strong background in employee & personnel relations. In addition, she offers robust operations expertise, particularly in Customer Relationship Management (CRM). We are confident that she will be an outstanding fit for our organization and a valuable resource for our residents and staff.
REMINDERS FOR RECERTIFICATION 2026: Start saving your Bank Statements from July to December 2025. As a suggestion, I encourage each of the residents to get an envelope and place all their bank statements, medical bills, and receipts inside it.
Mayra De Leon, RSC
