Established in 1948, the Southington Housing Authority (SHA) provides safe, affordable, and well-maintained housing for low- and moderate-income elderly and disabled individuals in the Town of Southington. SHA is committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents by offering affordable housing options and supportive services, fostering a sense of community, and promoting self-sufficiency. The Southington Housing Authority (SHA) actively collaborates with various local organizations and outreach programs, including The Southington Community Center, Bread for Life, The Calendar House, Southington Rotary, the Southington Police Dept and the Southington Fire Dept., along with various government entities. Our dedicated staff, with the Resident Services Coordinator as the primary point of contact, plays a key role in facilitating communication and fostering collaboration with these services.
