Mission Statement

The Southington CT Housing Authority's primary mission is to create and preserve affordable housing for elderly individuals (62 years or older) with low income. They also provide housing for younger individuals who are deemed disabled by the Social Security Administration and meet Connecticut's guidelines. Their goal is to ensure safe, decent, and affordable housing while supporting residents in maintaining independent living styles.

Board of Commissioners

The Southington Housing Authority (SHA) is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners appointed by the Town of Southington.
